Diagonal-Cornellà

For several months, I took photos through the journey from home to work I always did by metro in Barcelona.
The main objective of the work is returning prominence to the anonymous characters whom we share trips daily but who go so unnoticed that, when we arrive at destination, we can hardly remember a significant detail related to their appearance.

To do this I came back to the photography origins, to the magic of the unpredictable results that a pinhole camera provides.

Diagonal-Cornellà Exhibitions

Images taken in the exhibitions held in Passanant Foto (Tarragona), Barcelona Visions Gallery, Can Basé in Barcelona, Reus CIMIR and Lleida University from 2012 to 2014.

The photographs, unframed, were shown longitudinally on the walls of the exhibition halls to transmit the metro wagons sensation of continuity.
A slideshow with the audio recordings I made during the shootings was simultaneously projected.
The pinhole cameras, notebooks and audio recorder I used and the corresponding author book were also on display.
